Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.

How it Works:

If you would like to take a few breaths by yourself and listen to calm sounds, opt to use the timer below! Just press 'Start' to begin! Once you press 'Start' you can choose from the different sounds beneath the timer. Note: the sounds will only play after you press the 'Start' button! You can also choose to pause the timer anytime and reset it.
